The project is named "Silent Contemplation" and it can be accessed by the URL https://www.silentcontemplation.com/. The project name mention two activities or actions—
- Contemplation: the action of looking attentively at something for a long time.
- Silent: not making or accompanied by any sound or noise
We are contemplating at various things around. And, it is possibly very common, that when we look at something, instead of focusing, we dive into assessment mode very quickly. Think of a lecture or speech, you might find instead of being attentive, we often go into a commentary mode— agreeing, disagreeing, liking, disliking.
The project attempts to silently contemplate at a subject. No prejudice, no predefined judgement. Only contemplation, preferably silent contemplation. This will be followed by writings and publications on the site.
